Skin Care rules suiting different skin types

If you indeed love your skin, spend sometime to understand its nature before jumping into a skin care routine.  Your skin needs some special care suiting its nature. So, experimenting with a string of different skin care rules and switching from one routine to other might not be helpful for your dear skin. Before fixing your skin care routine and selecting the right products for your skin you have to understand your skin type. In fact knowing your skin type is the first most important step. Here we are listing out and describing all the standard skin types and the regular care tips suiting them:

Normal Skin: Normal skin is a smooth, firm skin and is less prone to acne. The pores of a normal skin are small or medium sized. Normal skin is neither too oily nor too dry. It is less affected by weather. If you won normal skin you must stick to a regular gentle care of moisturizing, cleansing, spot treatment and night solution.

Dry Skin: Dry skin feels flaky and tight. It is susceptible to wrinkles. Dry skin is caused by lack of nutrition or hydration. Dry skin can look rough or bumpy or rarely gets oily. Dry skinned people should moisturize frequently, use a spot treatment and moisturize with night solutions.

Oily Skin: Oily skin looks visibly shiny and feels a little wet to touch. Oily skin comes with larger pores which are more noticeable and are more prone to blemishes. If you have oily skin you should tone exfoliate, use a spot treatment and lightly moisturize once in a while.

Combination skin: Combination skin will have oily areas around nose, chin and forehead and dry around the cheeks. If you have combination skin you are likely to get pimples in your T zone. A lot of people have combination skin. If you have combination skin, you must moisturize, cleanse, exfoliate regularly and use a good spot treatment.

Sensitive skin: If you have reactions to certain cosmetics and have irritated skin after a dramatic change in weather, then you have sensitive skin. Sensitive skin is very hard to deal and needs very carefully chosen products to treat with. Use a gentle cleanser, one free from alcohol and natural moisturizer regularly. Aloe Vera gel is a good choice of moisturizer for sensitive skin.
